Here is a sample of our training techniques that get results:

FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH

Compound multi-joint exercises designed to develop all associated muscle groups in equilibrium with one another. This makes your whole body capable of performing actual real life tasks and minimizes the risk of injury.

This type of training helps correct muscle imbalances and makes you really STRONG so you can deal with most things that come your way in life. That's a 110kg Atlas Stone!!!

 

KETTLEBELL STRENGTH

Ever notice how the Russians are amongst the best in strength events and sports?

Their secret of Kettlebell training is now out.

Want a super strong body and shoulders of iron? Then Kettlebell training is for you.

For the ultimate in core strength I now also use "The Torsonator", "Power Bands" and "Power Bags".

 


FIGHTING FIT

I have over 20 years experience in many forms of fighting. Muay Thai and Boxing are my favourites.

There is no fitness like fighting fitness - it will make you lean, strong and give you cardio fitness like you never had.

 

 

Cross Training

Cross Training is a style of fitness training that targets the Anaerobic and Aerobic systems simultaneously. It is the ultimate in turning you into a lean, mean strength machine. It will develop your body across all elements of fitness including; strength, power, endurance, flexibility, agility, and speed.

Be ready for anything that life can throw at you and do Cross Training with us.

MOUNTAINEERING / TREK TRAINING

Planning a trip to climb a mountain from as small as Tibrogargan to the mighty MT Everest?

I have spent a month at altitudes higher than 4500m and up to nearly 6000m when I trekked extensively to Everest, the High Passes and the Gokyo Lakes region in the Himalayas.

After 18 years in the Army and as a rock climbing instructor I know a thing or two about carrying a pack, training for treks, climbing and the effects of altitude.

TRIATHLON AND ATHLETE TRAINING

Whilst I am not built for endurance, I do it to show how anyone can do anything they put their mind to, no matter what the obstacles. It is also good to cross train your body so you have a good mix of fast and slow twitch muscle. There is no point in being strong for 2 lifts, you need endurance too.
If you are an aspiring athlete, or an athlete that wants to be the best, then I can train you in sports specific techniques to get you there.
Performance nutrition is also a key factor on which we will advise.
